A Web of Dreams 
This installation was inspired by the Starland District of Savannah, Georgia. Mixing the bight playful colors with pattern and textures. I was commissioned by boutique and ice cream parlor, Starland Strange and Bazaar. When working with the space I wanted to start by creating some textures on fabric by dyeing and manipulating them. Next I hand crocheted pieces to drape coming out and about the fabrics. Next I added hanging yarns and giant sequins to add a mystical feeling to the viewer. When standing in the space the viewer is able to become fully immersed in the dreams raining down through the yarn with activity everywhere from the light movements of the structure.
